Design Inspiration from the Architectural Digest Show in NYC

A few weeks ago, I attended the Architectural Digest show in New York City, a great show to attend for wonderful design inspiration.

As always, I came away inspired and excited about new product ideas and innovations that I could bring back to my clients.

There were so many fantastic companies showcased this year. I’m excited to share with you some of my favorites.

Hubbardton Forge had the most gorgeous lighting designs.  They also were named Best in Show for Lighting at the AD Show.

This beautiful chandelier from Niche Modern caught my eye.  So quietly dramatic.

THG Paris had the most beautiful bathroom fittings, exuding timeless luxury. This beautiful collection Les Ondes by Designers Gilles & Bossier was launched at the AD Show. Elegant and beautiful.

I fell in love with these stunning hand blown glass designs from Vetro Vero…the beauty of their display took my breath away.

Each piece, made by hand, by the exceptionally talented designers Michael Schunke and Josie Gluck.  Each piece exhibits remarkable refinement and true quality craftmanship.

ILVE, manufacturer of custom made Italian ranges, showcased their latest prototype using mixed metals. Every piece is a work of culinary art.

Artistic Tile never disappoints with their stunning collection of mosaics. I love this beautiful coloured glass tile. An ode to legendary Jazz musician Billie Holliday, this tile, aptly named Billie Ombre, traces Holiday’s trademark melodic vocalizations along a wave of vibrant colored glass, creating an overall ombre effect. The blue/grey flows harmoniously from color to white, creating a stunning effect. So beautiful.

While in New York, I took the opportunity to visit some design showrooms as well.  Stay tuned for more design inspiration as I share some of my findings from my visit.

Until then, live well, live comfortably, and live beautifully.
